Minimum Fundraising Requirement and Application Date Announcement
Attention aspiring Boston Marathon runners! The Boston Athletic Association (BAA) has unveiled key details for athletes participating in the 2024 race on behalf of their Official Charities.
Each athlete representing an Official Charity must meet a minimum fundraising requirement of $5,000. This is an important commitment towards ensuring the charities can continue their impactful work.
The application process for entry into the in-person 2024 Boston Marathon will open on September 11, 2023. Organizations are encouraged to start fundraising preparations now in anticipation of the 128th Boston Marathon, which takes place on April 15, 2024.
