Race Highlights
The 2024 Boston Marathon was a historic event with several notable performances.
Sisay Lemma became the first Ethiopian male to win the Boston Marathon since 1987. He pulled away from CJ Albertson in the final three miles to secure the victory.
Sharon Lokedi also made history by becoming the first Kenyan woman to win the Boston Marathon since 2013. She held off Emma Bates in a thrilling finish.
